Horizontal Panel Saw
To rip on the table saw the fence must be placed up past the blade. Often it is left behind the blade after someone was crosscuting. Don't forget to verify the position of the rip fence. |
Here we can the white panel passing between the fence and two blades, (scoring and triple chip) while the operator firmly supports the back of her panel with her hand.
Crosscut with the sliding table with use of the stop block on the fence.
Here the panel in behind the fence!!!!
The operator must firmly hold the panel up against the fence while it passes over the two blades.
One sure method is to place the left hand on the fence, and the right behind the panel, firmly squeezing them together.
The body of the operator is connected with the sliding table by placing her body between the table in front and the adjustable bar behind. This enables the table to move with the operator as they walk, hands free. Therefore allowing her hands to focus on well securing the panel to the fence.
