Measuring the size of a full overlay door

One spacer and two pieces of edgebanding

 Melamine must be edged with pvc edgebanding. Here students are taking the thickness of the edgbanding into account while sizing the dimensions to cut their full overlay door. We have also made spacers to calculate the gap needed for each door. The gap is so doors don't touch each other of cabinets are attached side by side.

 

 A block is clamped to be flush with the outside of the cox to ensure accuracy













After the component is cut, verify the results with the same number of spacer and pieces of edgebanding.

There is no better way to verify accuracy than to close your eyes use your fingers, and USE THE FORCE PADAWAN.
